FAQs
-
No, we will provide you with a weapon that is a good basic weapon to learn on for beginners. If you own a firearm, do not bring it to class, as we will be providing the weapons and ammo.
-
Depending on which class you signed up for, you may be on an indoor or outdoor range. If you are on an outdoor range, prepare to dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable, closed-toed, flat shoes, pants or shorts, and a high-necked shirt (hot brass can fall into low-cut necklines and result in burns). We recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants, but it is not required. A brimmed hat is also a great choice to keep hot brass off your face or head.
-
Safety glasses and ear protection are required, so be sure to bring them if you have them. If your class will be all day or during lunch, bring any food or drinks you will need to keep yourself fueled and ready to learn. Additionally, a notepad and something to write would be helpful to take notes.

No! We welcome all levels of experience. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn no matter what their experience level with firearms are. Everyone has room for improvement, so no matter what your experience, you will learn something valuable in this training.
