Women’s Handgun and Self Defense Fundamentals (Modules 1, 2, and 3)
Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is specifically designed for women who want to know all the “why’s” related to carrying a firearm and protecting themselves and their families. It is broken down into three different in class or online modules to give women the opportunity to digest what they learn in class, receive instruction on the range and practice their new skills before attending the next module and learning more. If you want to dive deep into self protection this is the class for you!
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals
Concealed Carry and Home Defense covers a wide variety of topics related to carrying a firearm for personal protection and ways to safe guard your home. This is the perfect class for those seeking to acquire their Concealed Weapons License. This class can be tailored to your busy schedule with mini lessons or online modules for those who are unable to attend a 6-8 hour in person class.
Children’s Firearm and Safety Fundamentals
At Girls Only Defense Training believe that educating children on firearms is extremely important if you have firearms in the home. Sometimes as parents aren’t sure where to start or the best way to introduce them to their kids, so we are here to help. We can offer a wide range of kids classes fit for children and teens from ages 6-17. The USCCA Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals classes are comprehensive classes created address the topic of firearms and safety with kids of all ages and to provide a positive, welcoming and fun learning experience for youth – all while promoting the safe, responsible and ethical use of firearms.
Real Estate Agent Safety
Are you a real estate agent looking to learn the skills needed to protect yourself while at work? Real estate agents work daily with strangers. Yes, most clients are wonderful couples or families who are looking for their first home or their next new home, but that isn’t always the case. The 2-hour class will give you the basics of situational awareness and learning to trust your gut to keep yourself safe on or off the job.
One on One - Range Only
For those seeking a more individualized and personal touch we have one on one 2 hour training blocks that can be scheduled to fit in your busy schedule.
NRA Classes
Basic Pistol
The NRA Basic Pistol class is the best class for beginners seeking to learn the fundamentals of shooting a pistol. The fundamentals are the foundation on which all shooting platforms originate, so having a good grasp of the basics will help you grow as a new shooter. Blended learning and in class instruction are both available. This class also qualifies for your Concealed Weapons Permit.
Basic Rifle
For those looking to learn how to shoot a rifle, this Basic Rifle class will give you the fundamentals of shooting and caring for your rifle. Anyone owning a rifle would benefit from the knowledge and skills taught in this class. This is an in person 8 hour class.
Range Safety Officer Certification
In my opinion, every shooter and instructor should take the NRA Range Safety Officer course. This course gives you the knowledge and skills to keep yourself and others safe out on the range. This certification can give you the ability to serve as a Range Safety Officer on firearm ranges for different firearm competitions. This is a mandatory 9-hour in-person class. An online option is available only for those already certified as an NRA instructor.
